1. General introduction
Department of Cardiology was established in December 2016 on the basis of the Faculty of Cardiology. The center has 2 units: Cardio-Thoracic Unit and Internal Cardiovascular Unit - Intervention.
2. Human resources
The center has 77 staff, of which 29 are doctors; Nurses and technicians are 48. Doctors with postgraduate qualifications are 16 (01 BSCKII, 04 BSNT, 07 MSc, 04 BSCKI).
Doctors are studying postgraduate: 08 (01 PhD, 02 BSCKII, 01 BSNT, 04 masters).
3. Facilities
* Unit Internal Cardiovascular Intervention:
There are 90 beds, 01 room for vascular surgery, 01 room for ultrasound, 01 room for holter and other equipment for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
* Cardiovascular Unit - Thoracic Surgery Unit:
- Equipped with 01 room for heart surgery and 01 room for resuscitation after cardiac surgery.
+ Heart surgery room: With full equipment for open heart surgery and cardiac endoscopic surgery. Especially one Hybrid room for cardiac surgery and angiography, circuit intervention with modern system DSA 01 battery of Philip.
+ After cardiac surgery with 12 units of resuscitation are equipped with modern facilities for resuscitation such as multi-purpose bed, oxygen system, compressed air, vacuum pressure, ventilator, , monitor monitor, bedside ultrasound, bed radiographer, vibrator, pacemaker ...
