3. History of development:
The Department of Pediatrics was separated from the Emergency Department in 2006, so far the department has a total of 33 officers. With modern equipment and high professional level, Department of Artificial kidney has quickly confirmed the quality in examination, treatment and service of patients.
4. Functions and tasks:
As one of the important faculties of Phu Tho General Hospital, Department of Artificial Neonates was established with the main functions and tasks:
- Diagnosis and treatment of kidney and urinary tract diseases (acute and chronic), acute kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, acute kidney disease, acute renal failure -infection, infection
- Examine and counsel the patient before treatment for kidney disease.
- Patient preparation and counseling before renal replacement therapy (peritoneal dialysis or peritoneal dialysis or kidney transplant).
- Implement emergency dialysis and dialysis for patients with acute and chronic kidney failure.
- Examination and treatment of patients with chronic renal failure.
- Endoscopic cholecystectomy in the liver

6. Achievements:
- In June 2015, Phu Tho General Hospital successfully implemented kidney transplant technique. To achieve this success, the Department of Nephrology has made great efforts in screening, carefully preparing the necessary conditions, especially post-transplantation care and care. So far, 6 successful shifts have been made. The couple is perfectly healthy
- In January 2017, the Department conducts FAV intravenous surgery. With continuous efforts, the Department has operated on 20 shifts, contributing significantly to improve the quality of hospitals and reduce the cost significantly for patients.
