3. History of faculty development::
Endocrinology - Diabetes is separated from the Department of Cardiovascular - Endocrinology in 2010. The hospital has the function of outpatient treatment, boarding for patients with diabetes and endocrine diseases. In addition to professional activities, the Department also organizes the Diabetes Club for people with this condition, counseling and education on diabetes and endocrine diseases for the community
4. Duties of the department:
Differentiate diseases and abnormalities based on abnormal test results, from which early diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disease from onset
- Counseling, monitoring and management of nutrition and prevention of complications for patients with diabetes

With a team of excellent doctors, Endocrinology meet the needs of examination, diagnosis and treatment of diseases typical of the endocrine system such as:
- Diabetes, endocrine disease, increasing the need for treatment, the department can welcome, examination and treatment for hundreds of patients every day and successfully treated diseases such as diabetes, Disease, thyroid disease.
- Every year the department manages nearly 3,000 diabetic patients and over 500 people with thyroid disease
