3. History of development

Neurology is one of the leading specialties of Phu Tho General Hospital. Over the years, the department has been continuously learning and transferring technology from central hospitals with the aim of providing high quality health services, helping people save time, money and labor. Move to the upper level.

Separated from the General Department of Foreign Affairs on 20/08/2007, since then, the department has grown steadily, becoming a reliable address for patients in Phu Tho province and neighboring provinces.

4. Functions and tasks

4.1. Medical examination and treatment

The number of patients is large, but Khoa always strives to increase productivity, quality of medical examination and nursing. In addition to basic surgical procedures, the Department is constantly developing new knowledge and techniques.

4.2 Training:

Many generations of students have been trained at the Faculty. Doctors in the Faculty actively participate in the teaching of classes organized by the hospital. The Department also sends staff to study in specialized hospitals in the Central.

4.3. Research work

Scientific research is always paid attention to and promoted to improve the medical examination and treatment. Doctors have many scientific studies that have practical significance in the treatment process.

4.4. Steering work

The Faculty regularly updates new knowledge about information technology in the management of documents and medical records of patients.

4.5. Economic management

The department always abides by the management of the hospital, intensifies checks to avoid loss of assets, equipment and hospital costs.

4.6. Preventive Medicine

Special attention is paid to preventive medicine. Always follow the technical procedures to protect the health of the health worker as well as the patient. Carry out the waste classification, sharp and infectious treatment to keep the community clean.
