3. History of development
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a major specialty, established in 1965. After more than 50 years of development and growth, the department has become a solid, solid team, one of the spearheads of the Hospital. Phu Tho province.
The faculty of the faculty has always excelled in all the plans assigned, and constantly strive to improve the professional level, learn new techniques.
4. Functions and tasks
4.1. Medical examination and treatment
- Management of pregnancy for pregnant women, monitoring of labor, early detection of high risks for pregnant women and newborns in order to timely manage and ensure safety for patients.
- Examination of gynecological diseases, proficiency in open surgery as well as endoscopic surgery in the areas of cancer and infertility.

4.2 Training
The Faculty organizes on-the-job training for staff in the Faculty and lower levels, and regularly sends staff to study at the central level.
