INTRODUCTION
Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital, whose first name is Officers Hospital, was established in 1965. Since 2006, the hospital has been renamed Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital.
Phu Tho Provincial general hospital is the highest level hospital in Phu Tho province. It is ranked the first class hospital with 1500 sick-beds with more than 1400 officials among whom there are 420 doctors.
Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital has a total of 42 divisions and departments, centers including 9 functional divisions, 7 sub-clinical departments, 25 clinical departments and 6 centers (Center for Training and Healthcare activity direction, Center for Cardiology, Center forTumour, Center for High Quality Medical examination and treatment, Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion and Center forAutomatic Test).
