3. History of development
The Department of Anesthesia was separated from the Department of Foreign Affairs of the hospital in Viet Nam in 1975. Initially with 09 staff, so far the department has 50 officers, including 15 doctors and 35 nurses, technicians member.
Every year, the faculty always completes the assigned targets. Implementing new techniques to meet the development of the hospital, constantly training and improving professional qualifications for staff, asset management, equipment of the department, exploit the equipment well. 4. Functions and duties
4.1. Function:
- Department of anesthesia - resuscitation is a clinical department, has the function of performing anesthesia before, during, after surgery and some procedures for patients according to technical regulations.
4.2. Mission:
- Organizing the operation of the regulation of anesthesia resuscitation surgery and the regulation on the work of infection control department.
- Organizing the surgery according to the approved plan.
- Arrange patients into the surgery chamber according to the requirements of surgery specialist.
- Arrangements for surgical and emergency planning to meet the needs of clinical departments.
- Carry out the examination according to the regulations of the Department of Immunology during surgery.
- Organizing follow up and care of the patients from the time of receiving the disease to post-surgery and transferring the patient to the clinical department.
- Periodically with the department to evaluate the results of the surgery to learn from experience.
- Organizing the cleaning of surgical chambers and inspecting labor protection, fire and explosion prevention as prescribed.
- Participate with relevant departments to carry out the consultation and route work.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual statistics on planning reports on the general planning department.
- Fully implement hospital regulations.
